Hence, this question is a bit common for people who are trying to get every bit of motivation to stay focused.

Simple Question, Not So Simple Answer
I know you are here for a simple answer, but the answer is not straightforward as you might want. So here goes…
The main reason the answer may not be as simple is because everyone’s body is a bit of different when it comes to handling fat burning.
Hence, we have no way of accurately saying that this and that part of your body will start burning fat first. However, don’t despair. We may not have an accurate way, but we can offer you a rule of thumb.
Rule Of Thumb
Generally, the body burns fat in a “First In, Last Out Basis”.
Hence, if you notice that you have been lately storing fat in your tummy, if you do create a caloric deficit environment via diet and running, then generally it’s your tummy fat that would trim down first. Again, this is just a general rule. Also, there is another thing that you must know.
It doesn’t mean that you are running, you will lose fat on your legs and hips first. Well, you could be losing fat in those areas first, but running is not the reason.
There is little correlation between building muscles and burning fat. (It’s possible to build muscles and be fat a the same time). Hence, running builds your leg muscles, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that it will burn fats in those areas first.
